USGI EndoSurgical Operating System™ (EOS)
The USGI EndoSurgical Operating System™ (EOS) includes the TransPort™ Multi-lumen Operating Platform, the g-Prox® Tissue Grasper and Approximation Device, g-Cath™ Tissue Anchors and a variety of endosurgical tissue graspers.
The EOS addresses many of the challenges of Endolumenal and NOTES surgery and provides surgeons the tools they need to cut, sew and manipulate tissue through the narrow confines of the body’s natural lumens. The system:
- Facilitates access and visualization of the operating field
- Provides a stable operating platform to enhance surgical precision and control
- Allows the use of multiple, robust instruments for two-handed operation
- Enables rapid, durable suturing for tissue apposition and wound closure
